You take what the eye might have missed, and make treasures out of them.

Thanks! I prefer designing my mixed media pieces on the computer before sitting down to actually make them. That way I can play a bit with them before committing materials to the process. It saves me a bit of $.

Anyway, I know some dA people who digi-scrap, so I try to save the bits I scan in for them in png and brush form.

Do you think it's amazing to give someone something they can use in an art piece that's made up only of pixels? Made of shadow & light. Blows me away to think about it sometimes.
