It can be chilly at my desk so I decided to experiment with making handwarmers.

I crocheted them in a variegated /toffee-colored sock yarn leftover from another project. This yarn has some stretch to it so the finished warmers really conform to the shape of my hands. They feel nice & snug; not too loose, not too tight.

I began with the ribbed cuffs first, sewing the finished length of them together to form a tube. Starting at the top of each cuff I used a classic shell pattern, crocheted in-the-round, for the main body of the warmers.

I plan to make the next set out of repurposed sweaters from the thrift store.

Looks amazing! I love the colors in them, and the pattern looks both beautiful and advanced. I'm no crochet person so I'm always impressed by this kind of works. Great Job! I bet they were cozy ^^

Hey Derbs, it's going good. Working on one ongoing project and every week or two we get a new, smaller one. Keeps me on my toes.
What about you, how are things?
