Crochet bagby =E-Derby

I was stumped on how to finish the end of the braided strap for this bag. I've never done braided leather so I've no clue as to how to finish it off nicely. Knots aren't going to look good. For now I've fastened it together with a hair clip. LostThyme offered a possible solution that I'm going to try.

And hey, it was no problem to sew together the crocheted bag. Never done it before but it seemed pretty easy. The lining is backed with a heavy weight interfacing so it has good support and looks more tailored.

Oh thanks for the suggestion!

Sadly, I'm too clumsy at knot tying to get the nice finish I want. I did, however, locate an end piece that may work well.

It'll have to wait until after I finish my holiday projects though. I iz *full up* with time-sensitive projects now! LOL

I have done this braid knot a lot when my dogs lead break,but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it.
